And the silence of the shining stone
like the shattering crystal of the poet cries:
"I the enigma undefined,
the error of my age;
the players and the play defamed
that tread a timeless stage.
Ay! both hero and the rake,
of tragedy and of comic parts;
the dirge at many a wake
and the wit that veins the farce."
Oscar Wilde
While Hunting for Zechs Merquise pictures to make a costume w/ tails: "Why does everyone put up his face! I Don't want to look at his face, I want to look at his.. Clawed!!!!!!"
::sniff:: so my website dies AND eats what I had posted last night... one wonders if this will ever show up... of course, once it does, it will be a moot point...
The image songs I had been torn between were Simon and Garfunkle's "I am a Rock" or... VNV Nation's "Forsaken" or "Solitary" (or maybe Legion, but that's just too... off) I will probably go with the first, because the lyrics fit me much better... but the other ones just touch me so much, and... and... and.. but Bird...
Must... stay... conscious.. and... plot!! (never again do i choose "I'll go to class, drink lots of caffeine, and crash tonight!" after being up for 24 hours)
Bird, game tonight at 6... or seven, whenever, but we'll gather at six. Pre-game I would like to ask the group a couple questions about what they weould like to see more of, and Kallaris is still cooking. if you don't IM me by five-thirty or so, I will call you and wake you up shortly thereafter. And make sure 'Dri lets you sleep. ^_^
Not to brag, or make ... statements... but this is the lab I work/worked for. As far as Anthrax goes, using the disease a a bioweapon is as dangerous to them as to their targets... and with eveyone on the alert, it makes it even harder.. not that it can't be done, but there is a greater, and easier, chance of them destroying a few more 'planes.
Ahhh... the joys of research papers... why is it that the books I want are always gone, or "no longer available?" I wonder if it's occured to the library staff that once a book is gone, it should be taken out of the database.... either that, or my egyptology professor should not require paper outlines two months in advance ¬.¬
On the other hand, skipping out of physics early saved me from going homicidal... I wonder how long it's going to take Dr. whatshisname to realize that less than half his class now comes to lecture? ah, well, at least I get some useful notes taken in there... I have now completely outlined the dungeon for Friday's game, something I wan't sure when I'd have time to do. ::giggle:: I don't know whether subjecting you all to the story I have written out for the bard to tell is a good idea or not, it may inspire bad accents in Lora and toga-boy... (Of course, I'm a) not saying that my accent is any better, b) that I will be speaking in an accent (but bad high style might be worse from them), or c) that I can do this with a straight face.) This time, tho, I am going to very obviously present everyone with a chance to use their special skills... even Evan (I'm sure he has some somewhere (j/k!))
Now, to finish the synopsis from Friday... I have been workng on it, really, it's just actually cutting -and pasting it into the page and re-publishing... of course, 'm still working ont he readability of fonts and synopsis... on a larger screen the font looks weird, on a smaller screen the way the frames lined up makes the scroll-window weird... I will sort it out eventually, it may just take a while.
Bird, Kallaris has suggested bringing his rifle along on Saturday and visiting our favorite (9.9) non-range... I told him I'd ask you. It actually doesn't kick very much at all, and there is something... soothing... about blowing holes in computer components . Also, do we at some point want to go see Shrek at Prochnow? It will still be playing on sat.
*sigh* ::purrrs at Micheal Longcor... :: such a voice... and such fun songs... one wonders what that would sound like in Irish... (weeps that she cannot sing in irish... or base)
Clawed - ::looks at the above post:: We're long-winded today, GM. GM - ::bats Clawed back to her corner:: just because you think carrying on a conversation is a waste of time...
Clawed is sorry if her joke was the source of the world falling to pieces for Bird. Clawed wasn't aware that Bird would take it seriously. Clawed will watch her words next time.
Song of the moment, month, semester... there's something this song strives towards, such a terrible, aching emotion in it's words... Forgve my one moment of melodrama, but it just resonates in one's soul....
If you're afraid of dying and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. If you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth..."
