Quote of The Night- courtesy of Icchan "Denizens- the population so thick you can eat it with a fork."
eee! *wants very much*
*grins* Just got back from a whirlwind tour through phoenix with the University Singers... we did four concerts today and yesterday, one formal last night and three high school exchanges today. Also had time to hit Castles 'n Coasters (which I didn't, I've been there so many times and didn't fancy singing wet), shop (only at Desert Sky and Metrocenter, for those who know what those are, but it was fun anyway) and eat dinner at an irish pub that I don't remember the name of and terrorized pedestrians/attempted to steal signs on the way back to our hotel at midnight. Then we terrorized the busdriver by playing Mummy Returns on the trip back and spending the whole 2-whatever hours making fun of it. Most Memorable, tho: The ability of large numbers of college singers on a sugar/caffeine/adrenaline high to spontaneously break into random song at the weirdest moments... on the bus, in restaurants, walking home, picking up hotel keys... or while my friend was getting another hole put in her ears and we were distracting her... It's hard to believe that most of this happened this morning... make that nearly impossible to believe.... It's like I live in two separate worlds: Flagstaff, and everywhere else. Things that go on when I'm at school happen in a different universe than those things that go on while I'm not at school, and I'm the only one who crosses between the two... leads to weird thoughts about reality... how can anyone tell what is real when we have only our senses to rely on .... if my memory has been modified, then how do I know if what happened, really happened... how would I know if I'm only imagining half the things I'm seeing.... Clawed: *looks at Shadow* : You were supposed to keep her from imbibing too much Dr. Pepper today.... Shadow: I thought the caffeine and sugar would make up for the lack of real food... and where were you while she was off in her own little world? Clawed *guiltily*: drooling over the tenor section...
