And the silence of the shining stone
like the shattering crystal of the poet cries:
"I the enigma undefined,
the error of my age;
the players and the play defamed
that tread a timeless stage.
Ay! both hero and the rake,
of tragedy and of comic parts;
the dirge at many a wake
and the wit that veins the farce."

*pokes at a bruised elbow* There are times I wonder why I ever wanted to be a stagehand. The pay isn't as high as I would like, the hours are sporadic at best, and I always come back filthy and exhausted and often wounded in small ways..

Oh, yeah, I can choose my own hours, and I like the crew, and it's fun. ^_^ Except when I'm doing it as a volunteer for our choir, am not getting paid, and am trying to direct a bunch of people who just want to dump things down and leave. Ah, well, I guess I just go shower... again.

*gratefully accepts the Dr. Pepper from NnM and downs two whole cans immediately* Thanks, I needed that ^_^. As for sixteeen, here I am about to turn 21 and wishing I were about to turn 16 again. But, no, aside from being able to work and drive, there's not really too much special about it. And, believe me, I know exactly what you mean when you say you don't want to grow up yet. (of course, I remember thinking that very same thing five years ago and I still don't consider myself grown up, or even, really, and adult, and I leave for graduate school in a year)

*is suddenly terrified*

Forgive me one pholpsophical comment, tho, to say that you're only as old as you let yourself be... I know some people who, at 21, like as though they're about 30, some who seem to be about 9, and some (like me ^_^) who hover right around 18. If you don't want to grow up that fast - then don't. That's all I can say.

*flyingtackleglomp* Black and White! *bouncebounce*

That's a good thing. The first, one, at least. The second one is most definitely a not-good thing.

And as soon as this week is over I promise to update Mirrorgate! They finished the game, so it's time to polish everything off and relegate it to my dusty archives...
