My newest acquisition sits on top of my VCR at the moment. Just a chance thing, happened to be walking through Bookman's (used bookstore, among other thigns) and there, sitting on the shelf, sat this.
And for a moment I just stood there and looked at it. I mean, it's not every day you see something like this just sitting on the shelf in bookman's.
And at first, I didn't get it. I looked and drooled and purrred and whined and let Kallaris convince me of the truth: that I couldn't afford it right now.
And so I came back. And a chance conversation made a change in my circumstances, and I dashed back to bookman's and bought this rare thing.
And thus I became the owner of a matched, complete set of subtitled Escaflowne videos.
for 60 bucks.
