Hee... I love spring break
Crystal Ball has a new look. Very spring/summery. I hope it inspires the weather to remain in spring/summery mode. *threatens bodily harm to the clouds gathering*
But anyways, I really like this one ^_^ Somewhere between the cluttered look of early layouts and the sleek look of the most recent one.
Besides, there's just something about a girl with a gun...
So Kallaris and I (and TDTF and Scootersoo and Deb, but they went separately and I didn't know they were there until after) went to Barrage tonight.
I have to say, that was the best concert I've been to in a long time. The dancing was awsome, the stage was stunning(Of course, I was in the load in/ setup crew so I may be a bit biased), and the music.... oooh, the music... as soon as I get the money I'm ordering their CD.
I find it amusing, that when I put shadow through this test, she came back as:

They wear leather or metallic scale mail, constructed of leaf-shaped scales. Silvanus's symbol is an oak leaf.

I ask only... WTF?
... this wouldn't be funny if I hadn't been reading Slap to the Head's archives and a bad lemon fic about Cloud and a snow lady...
went to the Renaissance Festival yesterday with Kallaris (as the Jedi) TDTF (as Loyal Bodyguard) and Scootersoo and Deb.
My feet may never forgive me, but I had a riot. I got an oriental rice-paper parasol! And a crystal wand thing. Kallaris got a mug. TDTF got a cuuuuute cat that sits on her shoulder and moves with a little hand-held mechanism. It was made by one of the people that made muppets for the Dark Crystle. She also got a beaded rose and a sunburn.
We also got to see the Royal Jousts, and Zilch the Toryseller who tells tales in spoonerisms, and scottish dancing, and bits and pieces of other shows. Most of our time was spend just wandering and looking at everything. ^_^ I really wish we could have taken two days to do the faire.
Kallaris was less than plesed with us for naming him the Jedi (even if that's what he looked like) and was really pleased when the King himself, who saw us bowing to him, named him Master of Arms instead.
All in all, we had a blast.
